Server Build

Hey, 

       I just wanted to ask if you knew any ideas for a build that can run a Minecraft server for about a couple 100 players. My budget would be around $500 dollars to $1000 dollars. Also, my internet is the highest plan so just saying and if you have any tips on running a Minecraft server please feel free to post.  Thank you so much.
