Its not even a competition, the R9 280 runs away with it.  Not only does it offer better performance, but it has 3GB of VRAM compared to only 2GB VRAM on the 760!

 

Games are starting to require more and VRAM.  If you have 2GB of VRAM, you're going to be playing games are medium-high compared to high-ultra with the R9 280.

 

You also get 3 free games with the R9 280, which are actually pretty good games.  Its a no-brainer.
