So  I'd like to know, what are the pros and cons for both setups?

I currently have 2 monitors(same model), 2 cards and would like to know what would be optimal for:

-gaming on one monitor

-Working(word, internet, excel, etc)

-Web browsing (reddit, LTT, twitch)

-Programming

I'm kinda new to the whole multi monitor thing  :(

Wait, so you just got a second monitor and would like to know what it is good for?

Or do you want to know how it is to work with 3 monitors?

I prefer not having an Eyefininty display setup, just because my monitors aren't matched, and then I can game fullscreen on one, then watch Videos on the other

Neither of those, just want to know what would be better between eyefinity and extended desktop.

Will gaming on extended desktop affect my performances a lot? Will my crossfire rig work?

It'll work, but it's like having a wider monitor, so it will have a slight hit on performance, but not much

Edit: Read that as eyefinity lol,  It won't impact performance that much at all

Gaming on extended desktop isn't a thing. Gaming on Eyefinity is. Eyefinity basically turns multiple monitors into one. Extended just means more monitors = more monitors yo!

And having Eyefinity/(can't remember what Nvidia uses) does degrade performance in games as you have a higher resolution to support meaning that your hardware has to power more pixels. For example, playing games on 4K setups is harder on hardware than playing on 1080p. Same goes for Eyefinity.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
