In need of laptop

Hi all. I'm currently in the market for a portable laptop (between 11.6 and 14) that can handle some video editing and dj ing (for use with novations launchpad). I'd like it to be fairly light with a decent battery life for under 450$. Any ideas? Would like a sturdier build quality and I don't mind manufacturer refurbs.

i'd go dell, i know alot of guys with dell machines and they like em. they had a bigger budget tho

Also any sort of convertible is ok too. Portability is key.

Jeez, that's a tight budget esp. if you plan on video editing ...and it being a convertible.

 

If you really don't do too much video editing...

  • Asus T100 or T200
  • Lenovo Yoga 2 (11-inch)
  • Lenovo Miix 11?
