Is DayZ standalone still broken?

Just wondering before I give them my money to buy it. Does anyone own it and does it still run like shite???

I'm convinced at this point, at the rate they're going, it will never run well.

I.E. the only thing they succeeded in doing from taking it to a mod to this point, is make people pay for it. It still runs just as poorly.

It runs way better than it did before, but the performance still doesn't justify the power it takes.

 

I still wouldn't buy it at this point. I played it with a friend a couple days ago and it seems like nothing has changed and they are still breaking things, like the zombie alert radius - it's so broken that zombies can see me when I'm inside a house while crouched.

Still runs badly. They've made so little progress since they released it for early access, I'm doubting if they'll ever really finish it. The mod is much better still, so much more to do in it.

Nothing on that engine runs good.

 

It's not nearly as broken as arma, but it's still pretty bad.

Buy Miscreated instead. It runs on a much better non shite engine.

me and half a dozen friends brought the thing on release, we havent touched it in over 6 months +

 

dont waste your time on it

 

arma 2 dayz/arma 34 mods have far more to offer and are more feature complete

 

DayZ SA is the one purchase on steam that i regret

ive had this game since day 1 and well its greatly improved for me, its playable and worth getting but the dev team needs to work a lot harder at the rate there going!

Its a alpha!! Yes, theres alot of problems if you dont want to spend money on a broken game then wait a bit at least till beta but in all honesty buying it now would help make the game better.......the more money they make the more programmers they can hire to get this thing rolling

Its playable. but it can get terribly frustrating so I would wait until they at least get the new render so that it runs better (hopefully) .
