Is DayZ standalone still broken?

Just wondering before I give them my money to buy it. Does anyone own it and does it still run like shite???

    Intel Core i5 4690k MSI Z97S Krait LGA 1150

    Crucial Ballistix Sport 1x8GB 1600MHZ

    Sapphire Radeon R9 270 (Will be upgrading this soon)

    EVGA 500W PSU

I'm convinced at this point, at the rate they're going, it will never run well.

I.E. the only thing they succeeded in doing from taking it to a mod to this point, is make people pay for it. It still runs just as poorly.

It runs way better than it did before, but the performance still doesn't justify the power it takes.

 

I still wouldn't buy it at this point. I played it with a friend a couple days ago and it seems like nothing has changed and they are still breaking things, like the zombie alert radius - it's so broken that zombies can see me when I'm inside a house while crouched.

Nothing on that engine runs good.

 

It's not nearly as broken as arma, but it's still pretty bad.

me and half a dozen friends brought the thing on release, we havent touched it in over 6 months +

 

dont waste your time on it

 

arma 2 dayz/arma 34 mods have far more to offer and are more feature complete

 

DayZ SA is the one purchase on steam that i regret

Its a alpha!! Yes, theres alot of problems if you dont want to spend money on a broken game then wait a bit at least till beta but in all honesty buying it now would help make the game better.......the more money they make the more programmers they can hire to get this thing rolling
