So i just recently build my first computer and everything seems to be good until i game. Usually when im playing league of legends the screen will randomly get distorted and cut to a black screen with no sounds for a couple seconds or so. when it comes back up my computer is still working and everything but the game will just have crashed and i have to launch it again. I have no idea what the problem is there is no weird noises or anything when this occurs. Also happens when i play other games as well but never crashes when im just browsing the web. Computer is on stock settings any help would be greatly appreciated

That's one overkill PSU you got there, have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers? Also have you ried unplugging your GPU and run off the GPU in your intel chip, does that work fine?

was planning to add more video cards and ram down the road since this was going to be a video editing and streaming computer. I have uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them before. i have yet to try running off my intel chip but wouldn't that cause me to lag during my games like crazy?

I know it may be a sad option but reinstalling Windows, and then your drivers via the disc that came with your motherboard may solve your problems. Try using GeForce Experience to install your GPU driver.

make sure if your card is overclocked that you didn't push it too hard. Another possibility is that your GPU is running super hot because the cooler wasn't mounted properly. do some temp testing and compare it against reviewer results and you will see if thats your problem. The reason that I believe this is the case is that if it was a driver problem then it could affect you anytime but if it is a heat or over volting issue it shouldn't affect you unless the card is stressed.
