Very strange issue

So this is really strange... My computer doesn't believe in the number 5 whenever I try to type it from the number pad or from my Corsair M95 which has all of it's buttons bound to number pad keys... I just tried typing in the number 5 from my number pad and it just won't do it. Won't do it from the mouse either. What would be causing this? Would it be me switching from my Razer Blackwidow 2014 Ultimate to a Logitech cheapo keyboard?

Current Build: Intel i5-3570k @3.8GHz; MSI-Z77-G41; 8GB Corsair Ballistix @1600MHz; EVGA SSC GTX 650TI 2GB; Adata SX900 128GB; Western Digital Green 1TB; Asus CD burner; Corsair HX750 750 Watt power supply; Cooler Master HAF-912.

So it doesn't work on both the number pad and the row of numbers right below the F# keys?

 

Now the real question, how did you get the 5s in your post if you can't type the number 5?

What about if you copy and paste the number 5, does it let you do that?

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

No, it'll type from the row below the F# keys, perfectly. 555555555555555555555555. It's from the number pad and my mouse that it won't work. I'm going to try uninstalling the Razer Synapse software and see if that fixes it.

Numlock is on. 123467890 = Numpad

                         12346789 = mouse (only 9 buttons)

                         1234567890 = Number Row.

Numlock is on. 123467890 = Numpad

                         12346789 = mouse (only 9 buttons)

                         1234567890 = Number Row.

 

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

... It was freaking EVGA Precision X that was getting in the way. Apparently Numpad 5 CAN ONLY BE BOUND TO ONE THING AT A TIME. I HATE COMPUTERS.
