Decent budget external microphone?

I'm in the market for an external microphone. Preferably something with good quality. Budget is around $80. Suggestions?

Not sure if you want an external mic because you have a good headset already, or if you don't want to wear a headset.  If the latter, redhal626 posted my recommendation.  If you have a good headset that you want to add a mic to, I'd like to suggest:

I ordered one of these  and attached it to my ad700 headset.  Works great
