Get a GTX 970 and a USB wireless card. If you really want to keep the i7 then the drop from the 980 to the 970 will not be that bad. 

As far as wireless cards are concerned, there isn't THAT much of a difference between a USB wireless adapter and a PCI-E one, unless your a hardcore gamer.

 

EDIT: It appears you have already bought the 980?

Get a GTX 970 and a USB wireless card. If you really want to keep the i7 then the drop from the 980 to the 970 will not be that bad.

As far as wireless cards are concerned, there isn't THAT much of a difference between a USB wireless adapter and a PCI-E one, unless your a hardcore gamer.

You could always consider doing what I am doing. That's for about a couple of months or so use the stock cooler that Intel provide with their CPU and then buy a water cooler when I have enough money. In the long term this saves money as you end up with a better system. You could also consider doing this with the peripherals if you can.
