LEDs keep reverting to default color

aduman
Go to solution Solved by Mod3,

I'm actually doing that, is it bad?  :( They are controlled via an hardware switch on the front panel of the case.

That's the problem. The hardware cannot remember it's LED setting if it isn't powered.

It's not bad for your system, but it will cause the LED's to reset every time you plug it back in.

If you dont want to have to change the LED setting, just dont unplug the system. I know I'm being a bit blunt, but it's really the only option! :)

Hi LTT! I have a simple problem, built-in LEDs in my Enthoo Luxe keep reverting back to default color (red) every time I shutdown my pc. I can't seem to make it keep the color I prefer. How do I fix this? This is driving me crazy actually.  Thanks for the help!

When you turn off your PC, are you completely turning it off, as in unplugging it or switching off the PSU? If you are, first of all, don't do that.

I'm not an expert on this case. Are the LEDs software controlled, or is it a hardware switch?

Thanks! That makes perfect sense. I guess I won't unplug it anymore, problem solved! :)
