Hi, I would like to build a computer for playing games.

My budget is around 550 USD( = 450 EUR = 355 GBP).

As I said before, I will use it for playing games, and watching videos online, maybe streams.

I am not planning on playing the newest games.

The games that I would like it to run are Valve's games, Skyrim and Call of Duty games, but only until Black Ops 2, I'm not interested in Ghosts and Advanced Warfare. Also, I am not interested in the newest games, like Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4 and so on, with very high requirements.

The components I'm thinking about:

The motherboard would either be an Asus H81-Plus or a B85-Plus.

I would like an ATX sized motherboard from Asus. If you have got anything better to recommend that is ATX sized and from Asus please comment.

I'd like a processor from Intel, if possible an i3. It can fit in my budget. (Please don't recommend me an AMD alternative, I would like to stick with Intel.)

Also, I can't get the Pentium G3258, because I'm not willing to overclock my system. Yes, you have heard it right, not the processor, not the graphics card, not the memory, nothing.

I apologise, but I'm not willing to overclock it.

The graphics card doesn't matter to be as much as the components above, it could be nVidia or Radeon. I was thinking about a GTX750Ti.

I've already picked a case, so you don't have to. It's ATX sized.

I don't need a HDD, I already own one for the build. If it fails, it will see an upgrade in the future.

I don't need an operating system, I own both Windows 7 and 8.1.

I don't need peripherials.

Thank you very much for your help.

Oh and also, I'm not really keen on web-stores, I'd rather buy it in a store, I have one pretty close to me, everybody buys their pc stuff there in Hungary.

Eh... that really only makes it harder. You can probably get stuff cheaper from say, Amazon.

Here's something I threw together, as a basic guideline.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i3-4150 3.5GHz Dual-Core Processor  (€104.94 @ Amazon Deutschland)

Motherboard: ASRock H97 PERFORMANCE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  (€51.46 @ Amazon Deutschland)

Power Supply: Corsair Builder 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  (€56.94 @ Home of Hardware DE)

Here is what i would build within what you want.

This will be able to handle skyrim at ultra preset without problems, But if you download some ENB you might have to lower the shadows to stay over 30 fps.
And it is mainly black-red exept the motherboard.

Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB STRIX Video Card  ($155.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $547.41

The sad thing is that without the storage devices and with a tad worse GPU it's still around 600 USD. So yeah...

It is hard to get it much lower without ending up spending more money later.

But a athlon 860k and a fm2+ motherboard

or a G3258 and not overclock it with a fitting motherboard

The G3258 is still pretty good even without a overclock.

If you do one of those things and only go with a ssd or hdd and only one stick of 4gb 1600mhz RAM you can probably get a similar FPS

And upgrade to 8gb later and maybe another storage device later

I could get this for that much money, and later on throw in an SSD.

That sounds like a plan. Id say, Go for it.
