Good Mic?

Whats a decent mic for a good amount. I was think of buying a Rode Podcaster but its arount $300 CAD and then i will need other accessories for it like a shock mount and a studio stand, in total it will be around $500. Whats a cheaper alternative?

Take a look at the AT2035. Not sure if you need a Audio interface, if you do. Take a look at the Scarlett 2i2. Also the microphone comes with a stock mount.

The RODE PSA1 is pretty awesome for the price. It clamps on to your desk.
