Why is my screen doing this

Today I was just browsing the web when suddenly my screen showed double and two thirds went purple, can somebody tell me what this is and how to fix it, thanks

Are you OCing your GPU?

Try updating or downgrading your gpu drivers. (Downgrade if you have the newest drivers, upgrade if you have old drivers)

I'm not OCing anything, this is a crappy asus laptop and is used only for web browsing and videos, I'm also 14 and scared of damaging my fathers laptop

Make sure the cable is well attached, that's what happens to me everyday because of the cable in front of my feets
(Not sure why you screen went "double"
 

Edit: Ohhh so you are using a laptop, crap maybe faulty drivers,downloads?
