It's not a bad deal, but not a good one either.

 

The Xbox One and PS4 are both, in terms of value only with no PCMR bias, worth more (at least in the US, though I know this is in the UAE.) And an ellipsis is only three periods...

he has a r9 290 which means he has a pc which means he wants to trade 60fps 1080p and possibly 1440p for 1080p/900p 30fps

If I had a spare R9 290 laying around, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Why jump on the "PC Masterrace"-bandwagon when you can have both PC and console? Its a pretty good deal too, considering the price drops on AMD cards.

What if the guy had Crossfire 290s, bought another one to 3-way and didn't see much of a performance increase so decided to get rid of it?
