Moving minecraft

So my .minecraft folder inside roaming is on my SSD.I want to move the game to the HDD, but I don't exactly know how to do that.What I thought of is moving the entire roaming folder, but I don't want to mess up, so first I ask your help.

Copy the folder over, and use the change game directory. 

However, I'd suggest you continue to keep your files on the SSD - Minecraft, especially if you travel a lot, benefits from an SSD.

Create a new game profile changing the game directory

 

I just did that, and when I go to a singleplayer world I get like 3fps if it even loads in...what the heck.

Slower loading.

Is that constant or you mean lag spikes? Lag spike is completely normal.

 

Yeah lag spikes in every 2 seconds, but I just moved it back to the SSD, because it's just not worth it.
