First of all hello everyone and sorry if my english is bad :)

My specs are :

I7-4790K (thermaltake nic l32 on it - 100% stable after 10 hours of prime)

hyper x fury 1866 mhz 2x 8gb ram

maximus vii ranger  motherboard

ASUS gtx 970 strix

cooler master b2 600w psu

samsung evo ssd

2tb seagate hdd

cooler master storm enforcer case ( 2 fans - might help with my issue )

My problem is :

When i get into a game (shadow of mordor for example)  it goes running for about 5 minutes after i get black screen i restart pc and it says to me driver has crashed

Reinstaled driver ( tried every driver version, only 4 are there for this graphic ) clean install, didnt help, tried without that 3d and hd audio nvidia stuff it didnt work

Tried running Furmark crashed after about a minute at 71 degrees

So i know my graphic shouldnt turn fans on untill 65 degrees but at 71 degrees it crashes,

However i found a solution ( i know its not permanent and i wont take it as permanent by any chance) - putting my fans on manual setup to start spinning at around 40 degrees and to hit 70% at 60 degrees makes my graphic work in game and passes furmark 15 minute test! At those times she reaches max 68 degrees.

Everything is 2 days old and i have guarantee.

So what do you guys think? I see a lot of people having this issue. Is it just a driver or GPU tweak ( which i use to set fans ) error or should i go and get a new card from them ?

P.S.

Try updating the drivers.

Also do you mean a 4790k? There's no such thing as a 4990k :P

I would personally stay away from Furmark. You can try RMAing the card. If many people are having the issue, then it may be an issue with the Strix card itself that ASUS has to work out.
