I personally preferred to get the keyboard and mouse. :D

So what? Better mouse doesn't make you better gamer. It makes your experience and skill more fluent... which eventually can make you better gamer. To me it was more going for too slow mouse to mouse with better DPI. And again going from slow and wireless mouse to real gaming mouse. But I was already playing on medium level at that point. Mouse made me bit better in someparts which were hard because of slow mouse.
