Im a fairly new overclocker and i was wondering if my temps and stuff are ok. So i have my core clock to 4.4ghz and my core voltage to 1.32v. My highest temp of running prime 95 for about an hour and a half is 93 degrees is that to hot? I know i wont be maxing like this ever unless overclocking again so it should be ok right? I have pics of my overlocks.

That temperature is WAY too hot. Try lowering your voltage. Also, what cooler are you running? The stock cooler? Even for that voltage, that temp is way too high for an aftermarket cooler.

It's still way too hot. Try bumping down the voltage a bit. Right now, I have my 3570K @ 4.4GHz with 1.272 volts applied - I am not guaranteeing you'll get the same results though.

I would try to stay at about 65-70c or lower on a cpu. Like godlygamer said, lower voltage. Also, try starting at a lower voltage and turning up the by one until it becomes unstable, then turning up the voltage up again by a little bit and repeat the proccess. Remember to thoroughly stress test the cpu with prime 95 or something before changing anything.

Okay. Remember to take it slow. And don't expect my results. Or you may end up being disappointed.

Yeah, realize that every CPU is different, and every CPUs overclocking capability will be different. Allot some time, make sure to be careful, and do your overclock correctly. Verify every overclock, and ensure that your temperatures are ok before continuing.
