So i just purchased a copy of advanced warfare for my pc which consists of TWO R9 290's in crossfire and i've been playing this game for days on my ps3 but once i open it on my $2000 PC in runs the cut scene lagging around 20fps while on multiplayer i can get a max of 45!!!! So my question is WHAT am i doing wrong and why is this experience terrible on a PC that costs $1800 more than a little ps3??

AW doesn't support Xfire/SLI @Matriox... disable one of your GPUs.

Would i just go into the catalist control center and disable it there? and will it improve?

If anything, its probably your CPU. Or you might just need to wait for a crossfire update.

crossfire support can only be available after the folks at amd give an updated release to their drivers, maybe that's the issue, until then my best bet would be to disable the second one, do a trial play to see if that's the issue with it..

Details separate people.

I've never run Crossfire before but if your catalyst can disable on of the GPU then it will improve. Maybe max at 60+fps?

True it takes my cpu to %100 on this game which is rare from my usual gaming

Try to physically remove the GPU and maybe overclocked your CPU to 4.5-4.7Ghz and check for improvements.

I'm just going to assume that activision didn't do their job correctly and this game is heavily dependant on single core performance. Or that its actually demanding enough that you need an intel CPU to run(which i doubt)

Hah got that right..No game developers ever put more time into the pc versions vs the consoles..I bet a GTX 650 is better than the PS4 if only games were FULLY optimized for it like they are on the consoles

Well it kinda matters since we don't actually know if the game is already optimized for win10(probably not)

How does it run on your system?..Assuming you've played it

I haven't. It think would look like ass cause my G3258 bottlenecks my GTX970(patiently waiting for broadwell). Most of the reviews on steam says there's some server issues so I think I could hold on for a while and wait for the patch before buying it. :)

Yes the game is a whole lots of fun but after every thing you told me I did and i put the settings on 1080p low-med settings and some scenes i get less than 30fps!! and when looking at the ground i get 150+...I'm just now waiting for better optimization updates
