Twitch push notifications on Android?

Go to solution Solved by Lays,

The twitch app has no push notifications for android, get the app called "game alert free"

it will notify you when people start streaming, you can also use it in "floating mode" to watch streams.  I think you need the paid version to watch in source quality though.

it also has a nice widget that shows whos online w/ how many viewers etc

I want push notifications for when people go online on my phone.

This worked on my ipad but it fell off the stairs and the screen shattered, so that won't notify me anymore.

I also have my twitch account linked with a Gmail account that generally receives a lot of bullshit mail, so email notifications would be spammy.

Any way to enable these direct twitch notifications? Using android on an S4.
