I have my computer up and running fine except one major problem. When my computer first boots and the press-delete-for-bios screen shows up, the screen is gigantic. When I press delete to enter the bios, it is also gigantic and half of the bios info doesn't fit on the screen. If I click any button in the bios, it completely freezes up and I have to manually turn off my computer and turn it back on. This only happens when I plug in my Graphics card. It works perfectly fine without the graphics card. I've already RMA'd the graphics card and mobo thinking that was the issue. I also tried testing both sticks of memory by themselves and that didn't work either. When I load up windows, everything works perfectly. Screen size is perfect. No issues whatsoever. Any help would be appreciated.

My computer specs

PSU: XFX 550W ATX12V

wait so w/ you gpu in you can boot into windows normal but if you go into the bios it is all messed up.

 Exactly

Have you tried resetting your BIOS?

This is done by taking out the CMOS battery, waiting about 10 minutes, then putting it back in.

I have not and I have no idea how to do that. Can you elaborate a bit

The CMOS battery is the little battery on your motherboard (probably hidden under your graphics card).

Here is a video on how to remove it. (you might have to be a little rough with it, some of the cmos battery's are jammed in there tight as can be. still be careful, my #1 rule of technology, if it is requiring jamming or brute force, it probably doesn't go / fit / work that way.)

Option one : If the problem persists return the motherboard.

Option two : PM / quote me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Option three : do some research on your monitor, compatibility issue?

Option four : Try a different graphics card, my buddy has ran into issues with using intel cpu with amd gpu.

try updating your BIOS without the GPU in.
I know gigabyte kinda sucks when it comes to compatibility with parts.

I reset the bios and nothing new happened. I've already RMA'd one motherboard and I still had the same problem so I don't think it is a broken mobo. I decided to just purchase a new mobo from asus rather than msi. Maybe I'll have better luck with a different brand. I'd love to try a different GPU but I dont have a spare laying around. Just figured out that the GPU MSI sent me is about to die as well so I get to do another RMA for that too. Already showing artifacts on day one. 3rd times the charm hopefully?

Try a different monitor, maybe that one finally died.

You can get a spare one from a computer store for about $10, or pay them five to allow you to plug your stuff into there monitor.

The monitor/computer works fine when I remove the graphics card. I even tried 3 different cables thinking it may be the cable.
