Cs :go freezes my whole pc

Same thing happened to me in the past.

 

Just get the CPU core clock a little lower, it's because of your overclock.

Hey everybody so in short I start up cs:go, i play for ~5 minutes and it freezes my whole pc, I get a blue screen of death with an error code of clock_watchdog_timeout. I am running overclocked to 4.4 GHz but until now nothing else ever caused problems before, and I play much more cpu intense games(planetside 2).

Specs :

Core i5 4670k

Gtx770

Win 8.1

It's your overclock

But also try reinstalling drivers

Thanks mateys, is adjusting the voltage a bit up solves the problem the same way? Or downclocking is necessary?
