So I got my g3258 installed. OC it to 4ghz where I want to be for my build I am doing, then started to undervolt so far I brought my offset down -0.150v. On speedfan and open hardware monitor its showing my vcore at .87v ,prime95 stable. I just think that is crazy low. Any other programs I could try out? Bad readings or a really good chip? nintendopcocn_zps414aaee8.png

cool so it could be true!

Certainly could. That's one thing that blew me away moving from AM3+ to LGA1150 is how the Vcores have changed. AM3+ ran at 1.35-1.425v (depends on turbo) and my i5 never goes above 1.05v at stock with turbo.

Going to go for more offset tonight ,see how low I can go.

It's rare to see people trying to go as low as they can on core, usually it's the other way around. :) Seems like an amazing chip to me, I think you just got lucky man.  :P

I haven't tinkered with my 2600k that much but I'm currently on 4.2 with a 1.32 Vcore and I'm satisfied with the result. :) More than enough for my gaming needs.

It seems your user name isn't very true then. but mine can push 4.3 without touching the vcore.

yes I'm going a little greedy on this lol.just want my pico 160 xt to be able to do my GPU also. HW monitor shows only 50 watts on the CPU at 4.0 GHz so far under prime . a few more watts taken off and a little more heat would be awesome.
