hi there guys i have a h80i at the rear of my case and the stwo stock fans at the minute in push/pull now i have been told that because im running a stock 8350(im going to overclock soon so no hate mail please) that i can just have the rad against the case and have the fan puch air through because the h80i is super load :( plus because they are standard fans i dont think i would see a performance drop is this true and should i just leave it alone ?

thanks to everyone who answers and speak soon

you can just buy a set of new fans (NF-F12 for example) and get them in push/pull;pull;push. The problem with the stock fans is, that they are really loud on 12v. Its good to have a fan controller to keep them quite manually.

You can control the Fan rpms in Windows using Corsair's Link software included with the H80i.

Here's a "link" (get it?) to download it: http://www.corsair.com/en/cpu-cooling-kits/hydro-series-water-cooling-cpu-cooler/hydro-series-h80i-high-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler.html

Edit: Go to the downloads tab on that product page and scroll down to get the software.

Though, I agree that better fans would make your system quieter more easily.

Aesthetics of rigs matter
