Hey guys,

I hooked up my ps4 onto my monitor via an hdmi to dvi adapter, but nothing happens.

 

Now comes the weird part:

 

-When I connect a male-to-male 3,5mm audio cable from my monitor to my controller, I get audio and video via my monitor.

-When I connect just my headphones to my controller I get audio but no video

 

What I want is: Video on my monitor and audio via my controller with my headphones.

 

Please can someone help me? I don't know how to fix this right now D:

Do you have HDMI on your monitor? Maybe the adapter is DOA?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

No, I only have vga & dvi.

The adapter can't be broken since it works when I connect an hdmi cable with the adapter from my PC to my monitor.

Does your monitor support HDCP? I know the PS4 has blocks against hardware that doesn't support it.

Does your monitor support HDCP? I know the PS4 has blocks against hardware that doesn't support it.

Supposedly it does, it's a VE247T. But I also tried to turn off HDCP on the ps4. Still no effect.
