Hey guys here is my New build that I am going to be making around Christmas

I will be updating it later on it with a i5 4690k, I don't need a i7 because I don't edit or make youtube vids. Also I will run 2 R9 280x's on this system when I get the money because the board supports Crossfire. Yes I was a NVIDIA guy but.. when you are on a budget AMD is the way to go with Dual Cards

Go with a Z97 board. Or get a locked processor. There's no point in getting an unlocked processor for a locked motherboard.

If i were you, i would buy an i5 and dont buy gpu. I5 has integrated gpu. Enough for minecraft :D

Then later you buy something like gtx 970. Its enough for 1080p. Or whatever nvidia and amd release in future.

If I were to just buy a i5 with no graphics card could I still run game like BF3, iRacing, CSGO?

I think having the GTX 750 ti + G3258 would be better, If I overclock the G3258 I can get a lot more performance. Plus I am starting a Job soon so I am going to have money to get better stuff and also I am getting a i7 from a friend who is making a new Build

Yeah Getting the G3258 would be a lot better. I can overclock to 4.2Ghz on stock cooling and then that will Wreck the i5

Negative. Overclock pentium doesnt even wreck haswell refresh i3.

Unless its arma 3 or some old ass games that rely on single core perf.
