1. Budget & Location
budget is under 1100 no tax

location london ontario canada



2. Aim
my aim is to do a a decent amount of maya rendering and some serious gaming 

and i also need it to have a i7 4790k or higher

i already have it gtx 980 

BONUS: a themed build 

3. Monitors

1 monitor ips small bezel would be nice and nothing less than 1080:1920

4. Peripherals
yes i need a mouse and keyboard and i already have windows 

5. Why are you upgrading?

im not

eeh. hard time making it under 1100$. the 980 is around 600$, the i7 350$... your asking for some serious hardware at a very low price...

Is it for gaming?

He says that he's doing maya rendering and gaming

 

 

Doesn't maya use OpenGL/CL for rendering a lot? If it does, you'd be better off getting a 290 or similar. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though

well you don't need an i7 for gaimng, i5's rendering is so bad (I think)

thats why i want a i7

and for maya rendering

Probably should have gotten a TITAN. But i guess the GTX 980 will render fine too. Theres really only so much ''themeing'' you can do wihtout going into modding. Maybe go for a white build with red accents kinda like the assassin robe i guess.

 

For example

Sabertooth board with painted shroud

White sleeved bitfenix cables

Kingston hyperx fury white or red

nzxt h440 white
