Can't boot up after installing graphics drivers

Edit: After reinstalling Windows a THIRD BLEEPING TIME everything is working again on driver 14.9. Thanks for trying guys.

Windows 7 64bit

ASRock Z77 Extreme4

I5 3570k

HIS Radeon HD 7870

8GB Crucial Ballistix

Crucial M4 SSD

Roswill Capstone 650W

Everything on stock settings.

I just reformatted my SSD. Installed all the mobo drivers I needed and rebooted just fine. Downloaded and installed the newest AMD driver and rebooted, but the PC wouldn't boot fully back up. So I system restored and tried another driver. Lather, rinse, repeat with 4 different driver versions all ending the same way after reboot. I just end up on a desktop that looks like explorer never loaded (http://i.imgur.com/E5QdXHV.jpg), and ctrl+alt+del just takes me to a black screen.

Drivers tried: 14.9, 14.9.2, 14.4, 13.12

Before reformatting I was using 14.9 just fine as well...

I even tried updating my bios as a last ditch effort. Thoughts?

Are you using 14.9? Try 14.9 Beta. My AW M18xR2 with 2x7970m had similar issue yesterday where it would just hang in the middle of installation and would never complete fully.

I tried 14.9 Beta and everything went through nicely.

YattaRX8, what are using to remove the previous AMD driver before installing a new one?

If you haven't used it before, could you try using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and then installing the latest AMD beta graphics driver.
