Audiotechnica ATH M40x - good headphones?

ManOfDisguise

my search for 100 euros or cheaper headphones/headset continues. So far I have the HyperX Cloud, G230 and ATH M40x searched up.

I know a lot of people LOVE the m50 but are the m40x good too? They cost 96 euros? Good? Better stuff for this price?

Specs of my PC:

Depends. Usecase, Wireless, On-ear or over ear. Is noise cancelation important. Design

Also what kind of sound you like, E.g. Bassy, clear, warm etc.

The M40X gets a lotta love on LTT because it's got the removable cable and still sounds similar to the M50/M50X. Not a whole lot of reason in paying more for minor audible differences.

Or you could get this right now for $120.
