Hey guys, I was wondering if I should enable Vsync or not, because my fps will be capped at 60 if i enable Vsync.

Maybe it is because my monitor can only display 60fps.

I'll gladly deal with tearing than use Vsync as it causes latency.

You're always limited by your monitor. VSync just prevents your gpu from rendering excess frame before your monitor can display them. This can cause input lag (actually display lag), but prevents screen tearing. Honestly, I always turn VSync off, but then again I use a TN panel so screen tearing isn't really an issue.

eh, more fps = less input lag

also vsync sometimes introduces input lag on it's own

vsync for slower games, vsync off for faster games that require precise inputs

when the 8gb cards drop

LTT should do a video of two 290x/980's in xfire/sli compared to their 8gb versions in xfire/sli

Depend, some game doesn't tear as bad so i usually limit the framerate instead of using vsync. (eg: Dota2)
