Welcome to the forum!

Some specs on this new PC would be nice, and what sort of tips are you looking for?

I have plenty of sharp pencils, if you'd like me to break one off and send that to you?

Welcome! You'll find that the community is helpful, just be specific when you are asking for help, I'm sure people here will point you in the right direction

This is LTT. One cannot force "style over substance" values & agenda on people that actually aren't afraid to pop the lid off their electronic devices, which happens to be the most common denominator of this community. Rather than take shots at this community in every post, why not seek out like-minded individuals elsewhere?

From that, it sounds like a mid-range gaming PC.

If you'd like to know more about it you could:

  • Download CPU-Z
  • Download GPU-Z
  • Run a dxdiag from a command window
  • go to Steam > Help > System Information (assuming you're planning on downloading steam)
  • Download some form of benchmarking software, like Furmark, 3dMark, or any of the Unigine benchmarking softwares

Hey wassup, Welcome to the forum, browse around the Code of conduct segment if possible, in general just stay cool as possible around forum.

For tips, use an anti static component when handling hardware, make sure to defrag hdd weekly or atleast monthly to keep it healthy & don't overstress GPU or CPU with excessive benchmarking, those are the minimal basics i think you need for now

 Again , a warm welcome & stay awesome.. B)

Regards,

anti static wrist strap whenever? unless you're allways touching your hardware there is no need for that... UNLESS you are very easy or almost always static charged

I have the luck of never being static :P but as an electrician i do get my share of shocks anyway :P
