so i recently switched to linux, and it's not really for me haha, so i decided to go back to windows or atleast i hoped lol.  Basically i used several iso to usb programs and have the contents of the iso on the usb .

i didn't copy them or whatever i burnt them on their with the programs like universal usb installer, etc. gparted.

The problem is when i try to load from the usb it says that please select a new media or enter boot media error message. so it's not recognizing the contents on it. i googled almost every site and the only things they said

was that's probably my bios.    so i changed secure boot to disable. and put on legacy only like the websites told me too. same problem hence why im here now xD.

this is my cpu and mobo.

If you can, select which drive to boot into at startup. Should allow you to choose your flash drive.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

personally I was having trouble making my usb boot drive work. I went and bought a new 8GB Sandisck stick and used Rufus instead of MicroSoft's own imaging tool. Fixed all my problems and it booted first try. Rufus also formats it before coping the files.

Also 100th post xD

Hi mate!

First of all, sorry to hear about your bad experience w/ Linux.  If you are sure about switching though I'd check this guide if I were you: Create a bootable Win 7 drive in Linux. However consider dual booting! ;)

Linux: The operating system with a CLUE; Command Line User Environment.
