Microsoft is a pretty good Android developer

Have you guys noticed how smooth the Microsoft apps that are on Android? I tried few of them today and the smoothness blew my mind. Like I downloaded the bing app and checked the maps, zooming in and zooming out scrolling was super smooth. I'm not used to that in Android all that much.

Office app is still useless though.

If only they could put that effort towards Windows Phone.

That's not be reason, Windows Phone really need to push for support of getting ART runtime.

If Windows get ART support you can load android .apk packages, Thus meaning you have the Google play store.

Some programs don't work with the ART and only work with Dalvik, but very few

Thats only part of my problem with Windows Phone. I do agree though that they need to ad "3rd party" app support, but they need to make the platform better as a whole so that more people adopt it and make a solid app collection.

What my problem with Windows phone is how the experience really isn't intuitive. I want to ask the development team: "Did anyone actually use this before releasing this?". Some things just don't make sense about WP and there is too many things missing from it for my liking. Things like how there is only 3 brightness settings(plus auto) and how IE only supports 6 tabs makes the experience feel incomplete or "not quite there yet". Once the Lumia 925 gets the Cyan update(without dev.) then I will do a 30 day iSwitched on it and probably do a review, but for now the only thing my Lumia is good at is being a Zune.

Can you elaborate on the issues you have with WP?

I'm using an older WP 7.8 device (HTC HD7), and I actually never noticed the 3 levels of brightness until you brought it up. Guess they haven't fixed that in WP8. Though honestly it's not a problem, since 99% of the time, the High brightness level on my phone is totally fine.

I definitely feel you about the 6 tab limitation for IE. I imagine that it was a method to control memory usage in the browser back when devices had small RAM amounts (Mine has 512MB, as an example). But especially flagship devices, normally come with 1-2GB of RAM. Less of an issue then it was back when WP7 devices were being sold.

For the screen brightness, I would like one that is in between medium and high. The Brightness on the 925 gets really bright, but medium is too low, but high also wrecks the battery life. If only they had a slider that I could move to the right brightness.

The 6 tab limitation isn't really a problem for me, its just more of a disappointment to see. The good thing is that its not the only browser, but most of the 3rd party browsers aren't too great either. I use UC Browser because it has a decent amount of features, however it crashes a lot. I don't think its UC's fault either, since most apps crash on my phone which ruins the experience.

There are some other things that I dislike about WP, but I think they are fixed with the Cyan update, so I'll hold off on those. I checked and the Cyan update is available for my 925, so i'll be updating soon.
