No, your drive wouldn't turn off during a download. The setting makes it so that only the drives that haven't been in used for whatever set amount of time would turn off.

Hi guys, 

 

So I have a SSD for my boot drive and a couple of HDDs.

I'm  downloading SC2 off battlenet to one of my HDD.

I was wondering if I set it so the hard drives turn off after 20 min in my power plan will the SSD as well as the the drive I'm downloading too turn off, and will it cause my download to stop?

 

Any answers and help is greatly appreciated!  :)
