So, I was sitting on my bed and grabbed my laptop off my nightstand. It was plugged into the charger, but my headphones weren't plugged in. So I plugged my headphones in. Being the idiot that I am I accidentalliy plugged them into the USB port that is neighboring the headphone jack. (the headphones weren't all the way in the USB port, just slightly) When I took the headphones out, my laptop immediately shut off, and now it will not turn back on.

What should I do now?

Unplug the AC power cord and take out the battery and put it back in. I'd also press the power button after removing all power sources to discharge it completely.

I'm only seeing a little square. What's the model of the laptop?
