How were your tempts?

94 86 when room temp at 30+. But I push realy hard on the cards cuz I have 3 1440p monoitors. right now they are water cooled.

Hmm i was actually thinking of adding another 290x and going 4k.... 3 1440p is harder to run than a single 4k right?

Hmmm actually i am using the default fan curve... I just ran heaven benchmark for ard 30~minutes with default fan curve and it's max tempt was 80 degrees... Gonna try a custom one now!

 

EDIT: seems like having the gpu fan at 100% doesnt help at all lol....

From a friend of mine, R9-290x Vapor-X + Tri-X CFX. (dat X)

According to him both card never throttled and max temp ever recorded was the top Vapor-X card which is 82c.

Is that temp recorded on typical SG hot afternoon or on cold night? If the latter then forgot about CFX especially with the MSI card since the cooling is worst compare to Tri-X.

Hot afternoon! (like now holy shuat is it hot) on a typical cold night it idles ard 40 instead of the usual 50~
