On-topic: It won't be a problem, just worse without V-Sync enabled.

you dont get screen tearing if your using 1 GPU. Not that common atleast.

 

It becomes more apparent if your on SLi. Which makes Vsync on Adaptive mode handy. Adaptive mode will automatically lock your fps equal to your monitor's hertz. 60, 75, 120, 144.
