Evolve Alpha for PC

I got an Evolve Alpha code and redeemed it on Steam, but it won't let me play, because it says it is unreleased!  What's wrong?

You have to download the game from their website. I also got a code....not sure where to turn it in (and i dont want to find out cuz i am using ym mabook pro intel hd 300 gpu until my x99 rig arrives tmrw).

No, you put it into Steam.  It says on the website

Meh, I wouldn't fuss about it, it's basically some Lost Planet clone that lets you play as the monster.
