Newegg Typo?

Go to solution Solved by 79wjd,

On newegg.ca for any am3+ motherboards that support AMD FX series CPUs seem to only have PCI express 2.0. Now I'm wondering is this a mistake made by newegg or do all the FX motherboards actually only have PCIe 2.0?

Not a mistake.

They're approaching three years old and do not support the PCIe 3.0 standard. Not that it matters, PCIe 2.0 wont bottleneck any card.

Unless you use more than one card.

anyway the FX CPU's bottleneck even mid-range cards in many games at 1080p, let alone a dual card setup!
