Do I need a sound card to use Razer Tiamat if I already have a maximus VI Hero

I plan to buy a Razer Tiamat 7.1

I currently use a Maximus VI Hero and Razer says I need a 7.1 supported sound card, I've checked other forums some says I need a sound card some says I do not

Please tell me if I need a sound card and which I should get?

Also any other suggestions for a good Headset for gaming FPS,Fifa and for listening to music

Your motherboard should have a 7.1 output, tell us what it is and we'll look into it

No the Razer tiamat have a built in sound card

No but I recommend against buying a razer headset.

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.

Yeah your board supports 7.1 and is more than good enough for that headset.
