Can you post a picture showing the inside of the case and pictures of the fans? There are a lot of different types of fan connections - some standard, some proprietary.

sorry for the low quality, about to hit the gym so can't chat till later

Welcome to the forums!
Double check that the fans are firmly plugged into the motherboard headers
Did they used to work but now don't? If so, it's possible that they've just died. I had a whole slew of CoolerMaster fans that came with my case stop functioning. When I replaced them I tried spinning them and instead of rotating smoothly they barely clicked over. Turns out the lubricating oil in the bearing had polymerized and gummed up. This happens with cheap fans. You can replace them with more cheap fans and they should work fine for another few years.

thanks for the intel, i will probably buy some new fans then. could you recommend anything under the price of 50 bucks, or is that to cheap?

50$ for how many fans? Because 50 *per* fan would get you basically any fan

Looks like you have room for 4 140mm fans in front and top. I personally go for Noctuas primarily because I've had some spinning for 7 years and they are as silent as the day I installed them. That being said, you do pay the noctua tax and in this case it would be a total of 70$

probably just dead fans

for fan replacements thermalright has some cheap non rgb and rgb fans in 3 pack form

non rgb

rgb

both <15$ for 3 fans

for more performant fans arctic has the p12 and p12 max in 5 pack form

p12

p12 max

24$ and 36$ respectively though the p12 are non pwm so if you buy those make sure the board can control fan speed with voltage, id just go for the p12 max anyways cause you can use em as cooler fans or case fans and they challenge the likes of those pricey noctua fans

sure performance doesnt matter that much for just a case fan but these are basically dual function so pretty justifiable for 36$ imo when you can upgrade your cooler fans if you want
