Ram Speed Help

I just bought a Asus M5A97 R2.0 moatherboard and i have gskill 2133 ram. When i go set it to 2133 in the bios and save and exit it will not boot. It says overclocking failed. How can i get it to run my ram at 2133? It only wants to run it at 1600. Also does anyone have any tips on how to overclock a fx8350 to 4.5 or 4.6 stable on this board?

You generally highly overclock cpu OR overclock ram.

 

If you want to overclock your ram, you're going to have to lower the speed of your cpu.
