Gigabyte FA BIOS Version? Can't flash.

On my new Z77X UD3H it says that the BIOS version is FA. What version is that??

 

When i try to flash the new Z77X UD3H BIOS from the gigabyte website (with a USB stick) it simply won't do it. When i click on (or press enter) F8 (q-flash) in the bios then click on "save current bios" or "update bios" it does nothing. The enter key is not broken, it works just fine everywhere else on the BIOS.

The computer only has limited time before it crashes. I cant install windows on it.

The PSU. I managed to install windows 8.1 now (i used 2 PSUs first...both were faulty -.- I used my bros psu then it worked no problem). Mem test says it's fine.

I tried it...it still doesn't work. As long as the BIOS is OK (comp doesnt crash or wierd stuff happens) then i don't have to update it. Thx for your help though

It has dualBIOS, right? Test by using 2nd BIOS and try updating that. If its BIOS thats the reason, you really should RMA it.

Never touch a running system As long as your PC is usable now don't even dare to update your bios

make sure the USB thumb drive is formatted FAT32.

and the BIOS is in the root directory (X/:FA_BIOS)

Sata3 6gbps doesnt work.
