Why get an APU and then an R9 270? You would be so much better off getting the Athlon X4 860K or an I3 with that

RIG: I7-4790k @ 4.5GHz | MSI Z97S SLI Plus | 12GB Geil Dragon RAM 1333MHz | Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 (1550MHz core/7800MHz memory) @ +18mV(Maxed out at 1650/7800 so far) | Corsair RM750 | Samsung 840 EVO 120GB, 1TB Seagate Barracuda | Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 (Closed) | Sound Blaster Z                                                                                                                        Getting: Noctua NH-D15 | Possible 250GB Samsung 850 Evo                                                                                        Need a console killer that actually shits on every console? yes it will 90%.. get a bigger cpu........................ ooooooooooh nvm.. is a single core and 2 threads,, you may want to get a smaller card, but look around i may be wrong, but as i said im 90% sure it will bottleneck

Instead of a graphics card? Also I already have that Apu from current build.

That APU is much too weak to handle the R9 270. You need an upgrade.

Every PC has a bottleneck. A system will only go as fast as the slowest component in the system. So yes... This system has a bottleneck.

However, the impact that bottleneck will have will depend on what you intend to do with the system.

General web browsing totally fine... Intense gaming probably not so hot, the apu you have is a little on the week side and will not allow you to get the full potential out of the 270 GPU.

If you can't afford it now you can always upgrade it in the future.

I would preferably be gaming, probably Arma2 and rust as well as minecraft, not too demanding.

It's also not a bottleneck with a PSU that can handle almost any single GPU setup and a CPU that is pretty darn good. Performance comes with a price plus if you added the APU price to your build (As opposed to 0 due to already purchased) it would come pretty close to $500 anyway.
