Not sure if 600w will be enough but remember this, for large overclocks, you're better off spending a hundred more on a high quality PSU that will provide stability for your system for years on end than saving on a PSU now and needing a new one in 12-24 months. Hope this helps. By the way what brand and model PSU are you looking at?

depends on what you mean by cheap.
I will say this...
NEVER, EVER, cheap out on your PSU. EVER.
That thing gives life to your computer, you do not want a low quality one powering your good hardware.

Yes a 600 watt psu is sufficient. To specify what the others are saying, the psu is the heart of your computer, it can drag other components with it if it crokes. do not cheap out and buy a bad psu, however, that doesn't mean you should buy a 1200 watt platinum power supply.. get a solid 600w psu from a well reputed brand. Seasonic for example is very well regarded, aswell as the psu's that are rebanded seasonic's, check out johnny guru and other reviewers to see how they rate the specific psu you are looking at.
