$150 Headphones/Headset

I listen to ALL kinds of music, really. I just want the best sound experience for the money. Music is generally hard rocky stuff, but I like some more soft stuff, too.

 

Budget is $150, it must NOT be an USB headset, as I plan on getting a sweet soundcard soon.

sennheiser HD558

audiotechnica ad700 or ath-m50

+1 for the grado or ad700 for rock. stringy instruments benefit a lot from the separation and detail of open headphones. 

 

-1 for M50 for rock... the sound is a bit too analytical
