Removing "3D" from ASUS Stand?

Go to solution Solved by Flight1sim,

The thing looks awful to begin with and I don't quite have the money for a GPU upgrade and a new monitor.

Vesa monitor stands are quite cheap..

Also, if its really that bad, then put something on top of it, like a card reader!

Believe me, its not worth it trying to remove a logo or image from glossy plastic.

I want to know how to remove the ugly 3D symbol at the bottom of my VG248QE. Is there a special paint I could use on the plastic> Is there any way I could remove the layer of white paint? Thanks in advance.

why bother?

It'd probably take more effort than worth it, and you risk making the whole thing look terrible :(

if it bothers you infinitely, the best thing is to get a monitor arm and vesa it, get rid of the stand alltogether

*sigh* alright, I hate how gaming products are so tacky. I guess I'll get myself a USB hub to put on top of it. Thanks!
