Hey guys! i just got this hard drive off amazon and whenever i transfer files it keeps disconnecting constantly! I didnt had this problem with my toshiba portable hard drive! May i know how to fix this?

Try using a differnet USB port perhaps a front usb port if yuo were using the rear (or whichever way around)

 

Can you try it on another computer? then we can work out if its your PC or the Drive at fault

Nvm! I found out that the usb3 cable is faulty (i used my samsung charger one and it didnt disconnect at all) Thanks for the help! :)
