That's pretty high. You'd want your temps to stay below ~85c at load. 

 

This belongs in the CPU, Motherboards, and Memory section. I'm moving the thread.

If using the stock cooler, yeah thats high but....semi-normal, still too hot, but normal highend temps for such a piece of crap cooler are 75-95*c (Dependant of YOUR ambient temps)

If you have an ACTUAL aftermarket cooler, something is WRONG.

 

If so, re-install/re-seat your CPU cooler /w new thermal paste.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

no, it's very hot. try to lower your voltage and clock speed. and maybe you need better cooling solution (water cooling or some great air cooler)
