Thinking it was PSU also upgraded that it came down to adjusting the 2d clocks my self like alot of other people who had this problem, ok with that said im thinking of going back to green team havnt been with them since my G-force 4 ti, The 970 looks very promising with its price tag. What would you guys do?

I dont see my self going the 780 or 980 I have never spent that much on a card hehe. But yeh waiting to see what red team can punch out would be a wise move I suppose.

I was saying that because when they come out there will be the regement of price cuts.

Id wait. Unless there's a certain game you need more performance in.. I'm in the same boat with a 7970.I almost splurged for the 970 but thought about it and there's currently no game I play that I cant run perfectly fine. I'm holding out for the new AMD offerings.

Why would you want to go from 7 970 to a single 970?

Seriously tho, your current card is fine. I would only change if you're really concerned about power consumption. Or wait for amd and see what they release.

This caught my eye is all.

And lower power consumption is always a good thing :P

it i a n innacurret source do 970 vs r9 280 as that is your card it wil bet it but once amd comes out with a competitor the 980 will probably go to 400usd

If I understand correctly you've fixed the 2D issue, then?

Provided its working fine, I wouldn't bother upgrading an HD 7970 right now, unless you're planning on moving to a 1440p monitor or something. And never buy based on brand name, buy the better product in your budget. But yeah, the GTX 970 is the best choice for its price at this time.
